A bit about me…
I’ve always been drawn to the work of helping people, and over the past 20 years, I’ve worn many hats to do just that. My own path hasn't been a straight line; I’m someone who has had to pivot—sometimes by choice and sometimes by life’s sudden circumstances. Those shifts led me to a deep realization: we all need real, grounded support in the moments when life starts to change.
My journey began as a clinical social worker, primarily in healthcare settings. I spent years helping patients and families catch their breath as they adjusted to new diagnoses, managed health crises, and weighed difficult medical decisions. It was through that work that I also discovered my love for coaching and teaching.
From there, I stepped into the world of non-profits and large organizations, where I focused on the human side of work—teaching the essentials that keep us grounded, like stress management, communication, and leadership.
Life is a journey of layers, and my most recent endeavor involved co-founding a company dedicated to advancing women in the workplace. While that chapter was more business-focused, the core was the same: working with people in those pivotal moments of life that bring up big questions and even bigger changes.
All of these roads led me to Finding Your Forward. Often, in the middle of a transition, you can’t even picture what’s next, let alone figure out how to take the first step. That’s where I come in.
My superpower is a mix of deep empathy and a genuine connection to people. I have an innate ability to see others and empower them—a skill born from both my professional background and my own personal journey. My style is purely collaborative; I’m here to make sure you feel seen, heard, and completely supported. Think of me as a partner on your team, helping you clear the fog so you can finally move forward.
My Passion for Coaching Through Life Transitions
Life doesn’t usually give us a map for the "middle." Whether you’re making a big change on purpose or life just threw a curveball at you, you end up in that foggy space where the old way of doing things doesn't work anymore, but you can’t quite see the new path yet. It’s a vulnerable place to be, and it’s where it’s easiest to lose your sense of self.
I focus on these moments because I know that a to-do list isn't enough when your world is shifting. You need someone who understands the emotional heavy lifting just as much as the logistics. Whether it’s the exhaustion of caregiving, the shock of a health diagnosis, or the adrenaline of a career leap, these are the moments where we either feel stuck or we find a way to grow.
I do this work because I’ve seen what happens when people have a partner in that space between. You don’t just get through it—you come out the other side feeling more like yourself than you did before. I’m here to make sure you don’t just survive the change, but that you use it as momentum for Finding Your Forward.
Beyond the Bio
When I’m not coaching, I’m usually navigating my own life transitions—like raising two teenagers and attempting to re-learn Spanish.
Here is a little more of my behind the scenes.
My primary office mate is my dog. He is a true "Velcro dog" and is almost always attached to my side. My camera roll is a constant rotation of his photos and, of course, my kids. He has taught me so much about what’s truly important in life: sleep a lot, walk, drink water, sit in the sun, and hug the ones you love often.
I teach ESL to adult learners and truly feel like the lucky one. It is so inspiring to hear their stories, learn about their cultures, and witness their perseverance. We also laugh a lot in class—for instance, did you know that the sound a dog makes is different across almost every language? (Cats make the same sound, if you are curious).
I am a firm believer that there is no problem a night of Karaoke can't temporarily solve. Enough said.
You will rarely see me without a cup of coffee in hand. Iced, hot, fancy or not - I’ll take it.
Recharging is essential. As an introvert, I crave quiet moments to refuel. You can usually find me lost in a great book, catching up on a favorite show, or planning my next travel adventure.
