What is coaching?

Think of coaching as a practical partnership for your next chapter. While therapy often looks back to heal, coaching looks forward to build.

When you’re facing a life transition it’s easy to get stuck in "overthink" mode. Coaching gives you a dedicated space to move forward with support. We take your big, overwhelming goals and break them down into a clear, manageable roadmap.

How is coaching different from therapy?

The simplest way to look at it is that therapy helps you heal, while coaching helps you fly. Therapy is a clinical space for processing past wounds and managing mental health while coaching is forward-focused and goal oriented. We focus on strategy and action to move you from feeling stuck or unclear to feeling grounded with direction.

While I am an LiCSW, in this space I am your partner and strategist, not your clinician. If it ever looks like a clinical approach would serve you better, I’ll let you know and can help you find a therapist.

How often do we meet?

Every two weeks is usually the sweet spot as it gives you time to take action without losing momentum. That said, I am flexible! If you are in a fast-moving season, we can meet more often until things settle. Conversely, if you are currently balancing intensive caregiving or health issues, we can meet less often to ensure our sessions feel like a support, not a burden. We will find a rhythm that works for your life.

Between session support is also included via email. The most important shifts often happen outside of our calls. That’s why I include email support—to make sure you feel supported as you put our work into practice.

Why do you sell Coaching Packages?

Real, lasting change is a journey, not a single conversation. I offer packages because I am committed to your results; they allow us to move through discovery, strategy, and implementation without the "stop-and-start" feel of single calls. As a thank you for committing to your own progress, packages are offered at a discounted rate compared to booking individual sessions. It’s an investment in your momentum and your future.
